Time is flying by!

So, I'm sitting here having a cupcake craving.... no I'm not pregnant... but I am in a food-loving, exercise-hating funk. I should start a cupcake delivery service. Surely, there are others like me who would love to place a cupcake order at 9 o'clock on a Wednesday night while catching up on DVR'd Criminal Minds episodes and trying to finish their book-club book (the night before the next book club meeting) during commercial breaks. :) Kind of like a pizza delivery, only cupcakes! Sounds wonderful to me. Maybe we could call it Cupcake Hut.

I'm having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that Christmas will be here in just a few short months. The weeks just seem to be flying by! Before we know it, it will be Christmas, Lily will be a few months away from TWO, and little Gabriella will be 2 months old!

As I've mentioned before, Lily is quite the talker (like her mother). Her new word that she uses often is "EAT." And when she uses the word, she doesn't say it just once. Now there is no denying when Lily is hungry. She goes straight to her chair and says: "Eat, Eat, Eat, Eat, Eat..." until you feed the hungry beast. ha ha. Lily is an eater. She LOVES food and expects everyone to share theirs with her. I sometimes wonder where it all goes....

On a different note, the countdown has begun! Baby Gabriella will be here sometime within the next 6 weeks. We are all very excited to meet her! Lily will be 1 1/2 when her baby cousin is born. I am so looking forward to watching them grow up together and be best friends! Alice and I are blessed with wonderful cousins and are lucky to be so close to them all.

This week is going by super fast and I am loving every minute of it! My dear friend, Jackie, has been offered an awesome job at a hospital in Spartanburg and is moving in a matter of days. It's a little bittersweet, but I'm glad she's not moving far and I'm so happy for her. Love you girl!

Tomorrow is BOOK CLUB! WOOHOO. Call me a dork, but I love book club. Good food, good company and good books. Three of my favorite things!! I'm feeling quite chipper this evening, if you can't tell. :) Well, I supposed I've said enough for one evening.

Here are some recent snapshots for your enjoyment.

This is Lily from last September.

This is Jackie, myself and Lily at Jake's 1st birthday party (June 2009).
